Understanding the Health Risks of Flea Infestations
Fleas are common external parasites that affect both cats and dogs, feeding on blood and causing irritation, itching, and discomfort.
In addition to triggering allergic skin reactions and excessive scratching, flea infestations can lead to hair loss, skin infections, and anemia in severe cases, particularly in young, elderly, or debilitated pets. Fleas can also transmit tapeworms and other disease-causing organisms.
