- Dr. Ann Tyler Nevils, an Auburn
University graduate, opened Chenoweth Animal Hospital in 1985 in
the building next door, 100 Bauer Avenue. At the time, she
had a staff of three and a growing clientele of 1000 patients. Dr. Nevils specializes in canine and feline medicine with the occasional
equine farm call.
- Dr. Chele Zehnder, an Auburn
University graduate, joined Chenoweth Animal Hospital in July 2001.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Zehnder did an internship at the University
of Pennsylvania and worked for four years in emergency medicine. Dr.
Zehnder works with dogs and cats and the occasional guinea pig.
- Dr. Laura Sisterman, a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, joined Chenoweth Animal Hospital in the fall of 2008. She has participated in volunteer work in Mexico and Central America. She completed her internship in Emergency Critical Care at Animal Emergency Center in Milwaukee,WI. Dr. Sisterman lives with her husband Dan, 4 dogs, 3 cats and a lizard.
