history

Chenoweth Animal Hospital has been serving the St. Matthews area and surrounding communities since 1985. We were founded by Dr. Ann T. Nevils, a 1981 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Associate Veterinarian, Dr. Chele Zehnder, a 1996 graduate of Auburn University, joined us in 2001, while our newest Veterinarian, Dr. Laura Sisterman, joined the practice in the fall of 2008.

*We have discontinued our regular boarding services but still provide hospitalization and medical boarding for our patients requiring medications or special care. A few of our staff members also provide pet sitting services for those who prefer their pets stay at home in a familiar evironment while owners are away. There are many reputable boarding facilities in town, please call our office for reccomendations.

Busy lives sometimes make scheduling an appointment difficult. Take advantage of our extended early morning and evening hours or schedule your pet to be dropped off with pick-up at your convenience.

Fees charged for services are based on the support needed to maintain the high quality of care we are proud to provide. Payment is requested at the time service is rendered.
